Here, three helium neon lasers are used. A 2mW green bare tube, a 2mW yellow, and a 1mW red. The room has been fogged.

  • Nice lasers!

Is the red one the oldest of the three?

  • @magx1

I think that the tube in the yellow is the oldest of the three. The green is brand new from a US supplier.

  • where did you get those? how much did they cost?

  • @TheNuclearWatermelon

All bought off the web. Ebay and private sellers on laser forums.

  • The green one is a 543.5nm Melles Griot (model LGR192), its output power is pretty low (1.4 to 2.5mW) but it takes like >12KV to get it working but still good to have one of these because HeNe's were earliest of lasers.

  • very very work excellent green :-)

  • Your just gonna make holes in ur wall bro

  • I love how green HeNe's still have red plasma, it just looks wrong.

  • @TheNuclearWatermelon you cant buy helium neon lasers anywhere, plus normal lasers are better

  • touch it...... ZZZ!
