@FLAME4564 I'm not talking about JJ Abrams reboot. I'm talking about the original, which this clip comes from. Comparing the two is completely unfair for a number of reasons. The top two, if you ask me, is the years of advancement in technology for SFX. The other, one is a 1966 TV budget (which was low at the time), the other was a major movie budget in the late 1970s.

@FLAME4564 Don't be a troll. And you are twisting my words. Star Trek began in 1966, Star Wars in 1977. There was 11 years of advancement in technology by the time Star Wars came out. It's an unfair comparison, especially since one was a television budget, and the other had a major motion picture budget that had inflation as well..
