@cameron33563 That's how a bear hide is supposed to be measured. Off the carcass. Tip of nose to tip of tail for linear length, tip of center claw to tip of center claw from front pad to front pad for the width. Add the 2 of them, divide by 2 to get what the hide squares.

@miloryancolin Look at his length when he's layed out at the end. It's easily a 5 footer nose-tail. I shot one that looked smaller than this one and mine went exactly 5 feet.

its a small bear, nice color , but still small. the guy in the video says it was 5ft, a bear is measured from nose to tail and i don't think that was was 5 ft. still a nice bear. where abouts were you hunting?

never been bear huntin im from mississippi...we dont hav em...but im wondering y do u kill bears...do u eat em
