I've said this before. The Russians have always interchanged music and choreography from the heaps and heaps of Petipa-Minkus variations that they have lying around. So insisting that this belongs here or there is both correct and kind of pointless because apparently the Russians think nothing of swapping out all these variations with impunity. They do it all the time.

That cabriole at the beginning is flawless.

This variation is in the Royal Ballet's Bayadere with Darcey Bussell as Gamzatti.
