  • honostly he is making it more dificult tthan it real it your res it in your fingers while griping it in you thum and for finger make sure that your thum in facing up not sideways see was that soo hard

    Well, no, because the reason people originally played traditional was because snares were carried on a sling causing the drum to be at a slight angle downward of the left hand. "traditional" was invented to compensate for this slant. Nowadays we have harnesses that hold the drum flat which allows for the use of match grip but never will the drum hang on a slant downwards of the right hand.

    While you CAN play traditional with your right hand it is incorrect and will probably get

  • @tekcomputers Yes, well obviously DCI likes to stick to tradition, and use traditional grip. I was just stating my opinion.
