Colditz Castle - outer courtyard slow pan

A nice slow pan across the outer [Kommandantur] courtyard of Colditz Castle, taken from the terrace in the southwest corner of the yard. The video also shows the 'pit' through which Reid et.al. made their escape in October 1942, later recreated in April 2007 by the 'Stockport Six', much to the chagrin of the local German authorities, when seven British men [six civilians and one news reporter] escaped from the new Youth Hostel which now occupies part of the Kommandantur buildings.
