"Static No Baby" :: one blue nine

A new vid for this mutant blues track from late 1997...  we're pretty sure this was the track that pushed the music editors of the old Listen.com to describe one blue nine's music as a "heady blend of electronic beats, blues riffs, and bizarre ramblings."

It was our* first hit. So to speak.

Picked as an Mp3.com song of the day, it was downloaded about 5000 times in two days. (4,999 of which no doubt went straight into the cute little trash can on the corner of the desktop but, hey, it's the click that counts, innit?)

*Actually, my first hit, but let's keep the band fiction going, I'm shy.
