Liza at the Palace is a great show with limited engagement on Broadway. This is my tribute to her and the outstanding performance she gave. A month earlier I saw John Lithgow and Latie Holmes i n All My Sons (not so good but John was terrific)
All of this Broadway came at a steep price and now I must ---for a while anyway---say goodbye to Broadway. You see, this past wednesday( two days before Liza)---after 16 years of loyal service to a charity I worked at---I was laid off from my job.
The party is over and the lights on Broadway (for me) must dim for a while. I will be back one day. Until then, enjoy my farewell

I am going back to NYC this weekend, but I am seeing Gypsy and August: Osage County. I am tempted to see Liza again, but I have seent he show twice, and ...well...I am trying to see the best.

Love it! I saw the show on 12/5 and 12/6. Liza was a sensation! How cool that you got to see her after the show. Liza is the best!! THE BEST!!
