guys I owned both the 80 ohm and the 250 ohm, I am not an audiophile, with that being said, the 80 ohms are way more inferior in sound, and in bass. 250 ohm version is much more superior, the bass is stronger and and punchier, is surrounds your ears with warmth, the 80 ohm has cheap muddy bass, for portable use or what ever it may be get the 250 ohm, they are simply superior in sound. realistic vocals, crisp instruments, and warm strong punchy bass!! OMG these head phones are unbelivable.

I doubt you guys'll care, but I am 13 and want to learn more about music and become an audiophile.mCan somebody direct me to a website with the basics of sound?

@channesw the xb500 are as clear as the sennheiser 595.these are the only headphones that are flexible lol you can turn the bass down.but the bass doesn't "overpower"the mids or highs anyways so wtf.basically EQ works

i have the xb300s, and they have amazing frequency range but the subs are just mindlessly amped up, so it's not very "clean"

my 770 pros dont work correctly. I have to constantly fiddle with the plug to MAYBE get a few minutes of decent sound. this occurs with multiple devices which all work fine with earbuds, and power is not an issue since it does work correctly some of the time. DEFECTIVE. beware.
