  • He is kinda nuts tho... the only thing bad about him. If you get into a lot of birds in one area... he will just go bonkers... you can tell when, cause he starts flinching a lot like he doesn't know if he should chase them now or wait till he gets closer. sort of like buck fever. and when they get up, he will get way too excited, run way ahead and jump them all. He's not really too good at finding them after they get up either, cause he is just too excited to calm down and find where it droppd

  • my gordan setter holds his point really well... he would not break point even if we left him behind. Sometimes we would realize we had lost him and had to back track like 200 yards to find him still on point. One time we were calling for him and he would run to a spot where he could see us, then he would quick run back to point. We didn't realize he was on point till he did that like three times.
