cheap.

@RevGoodWill Cool cheers. I figured there must have been a benefit. I guess the same applies to the other characters too 'cause I've seen some original Guile / Dahlsim fights as well.
-
Another reason O. Sagat was better is because he could cancel his s.LK, while Super Sagat's LK hits twice.
-
@Koenig1980 O.Sagat has crazy fast/good tiger shots, regular Sagat may have super but his tiger shots aren't as good.
-
I'm not much of a SS player, can someone explain the benefits in not choosing a SS character (ie a previous version character with no super) - do they have better priotity or something?
-
That's good enough.
nvm I'm dumb =P

I find it puzzling why people hate ST. The meta-games of ST are really no different than any other versions of SF2. But in ST, everything is sped up and characters are greatly beefed up. Are some characters over powered? Sure. But the tier system in this game is not as rigid as others. There is calculated risk involved in every action, even tiger shots. If you don't understand the game's mechanics beyond mere visuals, you shouldn't judge the players, who are playing for money after all.
