This is a video tutorial in hammer on how to create resupply lockers for Team Fortress 2 maps. Resupply lockers are really important in both competitive and public gameplay as they can mean either success or failure for a team.

If you follow this tutorial correctly, you will create a working resupply locker and will be able to assign it to a specific team, so only one team can access the regeneration effect of the locker. It will be up to you how you use / place your locker in your map, but it is really recommended that you have at least 2 for each team, and no more than 4 in ANY spawn room.

I have uploaded the VMF i used to create this tutorial, so you can download it and see for yourself in hammer what i did, and if you like, you can steal these lockers directly from the VMF :) Even though this saves time, i recommend you build one initially from scratch so you know how things work.

Note: The map used an env_cubemap, 2 info_player_teamspawn's with 1 assigned to RED and one to BLU and compile with HDR (which is why the shadows and textures / lighting look good in the ingame demos). So if you wondered, thats why :D

    The link is dead.

    You don't have to repeat things and explain obvious "Useable by team: Any/Red/Blue", the shorter explanation the better. If somebody wont get it then go and hit replay.

    Oh and yea this vid is old so Im goin now to check your other tutorials. Thanks mate!

  • if i make a respawn point for players, those little green guys can't touch the floor right? if so, can other objects props,resupply can touch the floor?

  • This isn't creating a TF2 locker, this is placing a TF2 locker. If i wanted to make my own locker what would i watch? Any ideas?
