  • Cloning in and of iteself would solve the numbers issue, but would that not produce another same gender? Not to mention, if they find a way to alter that, as can be done in some west african sepcies earlier on, I STILL wouldnt blame him, I wouldnt want to have sex with another me either. Not to mention all the defects that it could put into the species from lack of genetic variables (aka technical inbreeding).
