I always thought that images from Central America and South America could be associated with the Aquatic Ruin Zone Level.

@supermax110 That game imitated real world places, which was good, but imagine if you could "import" a real location into a video game and actually play that location. Either way, this song wasn't in it.

I think that one day, Sega will make a Sonic game with real world environments, exact replicas of their real counterparts, as levels. And this will be in it.

@PersonalJesus97 Not true. Team S2HD announced successful integration of the game engine and audio engine last month. They are now working out some issues with DirectX.
You have to understand that this project is being built from the ground up in the C++ programming language. They are not using any third party engines but rather creating their own specially tailored to S2HD's needs without unnecessary bulk. It is VERY time consuming but will result in a much better product in the end.
