@tfender64 for some reason music has been my anchor to memories of my life. I can remember scenes from my life back when I was 4 or 5 just from hearing a song from that time. It can really imprint your soul. Music is a spiritual experience.

@schlabresfan So Im just another passenger on this earth as are you but i read this and it gave me chills. I am truly in love with the way music can affect a person at any given time. you always remember where you are when you relate it to music. Just a thought i guess.

@schlabresfan I know what you mean, my father died 2 years later in '06, also suddenly. I immediately U2's song "All I want is you" is what would be played at his funeral. Stay strong, but more importantly, stay sane.

This album came out the week my father died(suddenly). Never forget driving back to my hometown when I got the news. For some reason I was cranking this on the way. Every song got imprinted on my mind in a weird way. The lyrics to this and Sometimes you Can't Make It, hit me hard. I totally understood Bono there. It helped get me through that drive though.
