"S&M" is a song by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, from her fith studio album Loud (2010). The up-tempo eurodance song was written by Mikkel S. Eriksen, Tor Erik Hermansen, Sandy Wilhelm, and Ester Dean, and produced by Stargate and Sandy Vee. The song serves as the fourth official single from Loud and was released on January 25, 2011. "S&M" received mixed to positive reviews from most music critics.

Before the song was released as a single, "S&M" had already impacted on the charts. It reached number twenty-seven in Australia, number seventy-two in Canada, number thirty-three in Ireland, number forty-two in the United Kingdom, and number fifty-three in the United States. The song was considerably more successful in Norway, where it reached number four. It has been confirmed that a music video for the song was directed by Melina Matsoukas.
