Well, all good things must come to an end or so they say.It looks as if my recovery was only another temporary remission.

Hi Hazzmarsh, I am a Christian, and I do believe God heals. But it has happened for me yet.

  • I am very sorry that this has happened - but you always appear so calm in the face of difficulty. I hope the medics have something useful to offer. BW Paula

  • Hi Paula, The strange thing is that since making this video I have had a couple of 'mini remissions' where my walking has returned. These have lasted a day or part of a day then my walking has gone again! It's like someone is turning a switch on and off. I am not sure why this is happening after having so many months without any relief.

  • cont... Your walking looks very like mine when it is bad. The problem is that those of us with such conditions are unable to access the real testing and treatment that we need unless we have money. I do find that if I try to do too much things get worse - more activity = more physical symptoms - this is the exact opposite of psychological stuff isn't it - if you are depressed etc physical activity helps... I think true ME and MS are very similar in many ways symptomatically.

  • Hi Paul,

Now I have got beyond the years of being bedridden in a dark room I have the same variability of symtoms - sometimes can walk - sometimes can't get down the stairs, sometimes end up back in the dark room - I know your diagnosis is still unclear and that is the same for everyone who has not been able to have the proper tests - that switch thing is so familiar to me - they say that variability is a defining symptom of ME - who knows...

  • Paul,

I am so sorry to hear the symptoms have returned. it was such a dramatic change.I do so hope that the neurologists can identify what is going on now and that there may be some support they can offer you - better than you have had so far!

Thoughts and prayers are with you

    love Lindax
