Damien Dempsey "colony"

I sing the song of the colony How many years and you're still not free And your mother cries and you ask god why Greed is the knife and the scars run deep How many races with much reason to weep An...

The Bush administration was accused of racism for procrastinating for 3 weeks on Hurricane Catriona and 3000 bodies. The British had six years and 1 million corpses during the famine. A tariff on wheat exports from Ireland would have saved them all, or getting id of the tariff on American imports of corn. But no, our lives were not worth it. Point this out today to a Brit and you are considered a "radical". At least the Germans had th decency to apollogise

People use the term colonisation as if it were some kind of favour or remedy given by so-called superiors to so-called inferiors. Make no mistake it was attempted genocide in Ireland, America North and South, Africa, Aisa and elsewhere, perpetrated as ever by the ruling classes. It continues today in places like Palestine, Iraq and Afganistan, where the media would have you believe it's some sort of goodwill intervention to help those 'poor' people.

This is an incredibly intense, passionate, and great song. At the same time, if the English and Germans hadn't colonized Cherokee land, I wouldn't exist.
