Is the case open?
How is the fan noise compared to 8800GT? im thinking about getting gtx 470, but im a little worried about the noise.

@dentix case is open (was dark at the time) and the fan noise is not bad at all. My GTX 470 is cooled well so I barely see my fan speeds even reach 60%, but if it does you can barely hear it.
