@mugwaii2008 who do you think is a guitar god? ..... Carlos says in 3 notes what it take 12 notes from other guitarists....Number of notes don't mean SH#t... It's timing!!.....And if you ask any of your guitar gods they probably love Santana... There's a reason for that !.....Teach your students how to play from the heart... Please

Close your eyes, and Carlos sounds pretty damn good!
Tommy P plays one of his best solos ever, especially when he rips the mid-range.
Chester NEVER screws up...he always plays outside the box and in sync ( or out ) with the rhythm section...a classic performance.
Watch Mimi for a second: and Doc...it's like they went back in time to a total jam.
I like this one!

Cheeky Carlos playing the head for Coltrane's 'Impressions' at 1:37 hahhahaha

In any case, fo yo in fo, TOP owes a great deal to Carlos. He insisted they tour with him during the Back to Oakland album tour (1974-75) and they've been friends since both bands formed c 1969. And, by the way, Chester F'd up a little at the end and no one cared did they? Everyone still loved to see him jamming with the band in that instance. its all ok people...it was great anyways. And if you're still bothered; go n roast a bud, chill and try to enjoy it.

everybody's a critic, smh. Calling Santana a 3 chord player is like calling Zappa a parody of a guitarist. This is Chester's tune, although the Bruce Conte solo on this original track is among the best ever (imho). I commend Carlos for not trying to steal the show. He doesn't have to. Let the light shine where it should on CT, Cheson music. It would have been nice to hear Bruce do the solo and I think I see him and his Gibson in the background must have been during one of his brief return stints.

Sorry, but Carlos is in WAY over his head.

maybe Santana's wish came true to play w/TOP, what an honor it must have been for him.

the video goes out sync near the end....... a shame!!!
Can I get this minus Santana? That guy is the Kenny G of funk guitar players.

Santana is the most overrated guitar of our time!!!.... Hes an ok guitarist. He revolutionized cuban american music, he stands for that, lets give him that, but come on, he is not a guitar God........ I have 14 yr olds in my class that can outplay him, but he should stick to 3 chord songs with major and minor scales only.... why is he there in the place, who knows!!!!
