  • @Yondaime110 Me to. XD

  • @ernestmac13 I agree. I remember S1 of SG1 and Jackson could barely handle a 9mm pistol. And by S10 he was using a P90 like a boss.

  • @guerrerosalsa Yeah hooray, no more soap operas in space. And no more Stargate, ever.

  • haha this was my favorite scene i think from all of atlantis.

    "Are you weak?"

    "um....no"

  • jajajaja this is why i´m not gonna miss SGU too much this is what SG is all about!! good fun, action and scifi!!! (no more soap operas in space)

  • I look forward to watching Conan, & any other movies cast members of SGA make. I actually like SGU, but think they needed to find a permanent base of operations, contact with people on similar ships, etc.

  • It was necessary to present his character as bumbling & incapable of handling himself in a crisis in the field, so he could show a transition to someone who could handle themselves in the field, which he did in several episodes. The character of Ronan goes through the opposite arch, he goes from being able to handle himself in the field but not in social situations, to being able to handle social situations, over time. Many characters made such transition on this show, which made it so good.

  • David Hewlett is capable of humor & vary serious acting, and such light moments as this have been seen in many sci-fi classics from Battle Star Galactica to Star Trek. I can see when people object to humor is when its in bad taste or is dubbing down the viewer. Many kids shows are guilty of this such as power rangers, where the bad guys exist only for comic relief, this isn't the case with the character of Dr McKay, he progresses from arrogant & no fighting skills, to handling a crisis well.

  • This is why Stargate Universe sucks.

  • I miss SGA...
