Sowas haben die abgerissen? Total krank! Und die neue Oper in Köln ist so hässlich und man hört auch schlecht da drin.

Ja, im lauf dieser 8 jahren hab ich doch ein bißchen Kölsch auch mitbekommen.

Since 8 years I do the Divertissementchen shows. Rent a room for two months, and then return to Holland. It's a big pleasure and honor to play with a symphony orchestra. As a saxophone player you don't get too many chances to do so.

Very interesting. As a saxophone player I work since 8 years every winter in the new opera, but would have loved to play in such a beautifull place.
The orchestra pit in the new opera has never been cleaned since 1950 by the way! Only the parts where the audience is.

How funny! Then I I did hear you playing. i visit the opera twice a week - although I hate the modern building ans wish, the old one would still be alive!

Dagje en Kölle Alaaf! Ik ben niet gewest in het Divertissemtchen. Sorry, my dutch is awful. I've just seen the show at TV. Before the War, it was staged at the "Wolkenburg" - one of the many theatres at Cologne. The Nazis stopped these performances because they did not want to have men acting like women on stage. But the choir did it secretly:-) After the Wolkenburg was destroyed at the War, they did the Divertissementchen at the new opera. Do you understand kölsch? Groetjes, Knuspi

Äh, wie kommst Du denn darauf. 1950 war das Kölner Opernhaus leider ausgebrannt und kurz drauaf entschied die Stadtverwaltung diesen schönen Bau abzureißen. Was Du meinst, das sind die Hahnentor-Lichtspiele, Kölns Uraufführungskino. Dieses befand sich ganz in der Nähe des alten Opernhauses. Ist aber mittlerweile auch abgerissen.

Die Sanierung des " neuen" Kölner Opernhauses soll 364 Millionen Euro Kosten!!!! 364 Millionen Euro für die Sanierung einer komplett abbruchreifen Oper, die schon in ihrem Eröffnungsjahr technisch unvollkommen war, wo die Akustik grottig ist und die Wegeführung eine Katastrophe! Das ist einfach lächerlich!
Für das Geld kann man ja die alte Moritzoper und das Raschdorff-Schauspielhaus wieder aufbauen. Fassungslos! Total FASSUNGSLOS!!!!
