Since version 8.1 Resolve can open and export FCP X XML format. THis means that you can edit in FCP X, send the project to Resolve, grade and sent the project back to FCP X. Here is a 10min tutorial / Demo I did that shows how to do it and what happens to transitions and time warps.
How do you get to the render settings?
We see we are in the Color tab, then we click the Color tab again and we get render settings? What gives?
While I haven't figured out what happens in the video, you can get the Render settings via them menu: Session > Render
This pops open the Render window.

Is the footage in this HD 1080p? If so what spec is your imac? My mac struggles like crazy. :-(

Thanks for this demo. Do have any tutorials on color matching with Resolve? Nearly all my shoots are 2 camera shoots and I currently use either Color 1.5 or Avid Media Composer to get a good match (pref MC). I would use FCPx more if I could get a reliable workflow. I like that your tutorial is to the point and clear.
