  • No disrespect intended, but this is the album cut version of "Sunglasses At Night," rather than an extended mix. I remember when radio stations used to play this version of the song when it first came out. It is unlikely that any radio stations have played the album cut version since the single cut was made available.

  • @bildo1977: It wasn't uncommon back then to include the album version on the 12" calling it extended as it was released at slightly the same time as the 7" which usually had an edited version of the song. But you're correct, this is the same as the album version. Thanks for the comment.

  • Thanks for posting this song. I like the way music sounds off the LPs more than the digital format. Do you have any other music that you've posted from your LP collection?

  • It was Andy Barnet on guitar. Come on now, it sounds nothing at all like Clapton. That's like saying "I think Pavarati is the singer on this song..."

  • I have come here to chew bubble gum and listen to Corey Hart... and I'm all out of bubble gum

  • Believe it or not this song was considered cheesy in the eighties. The song aged nicely :)

  • @WineSippingCowboy Clapton was lead guitar on Jenny Fey of the same album, but not on sunglasses. Regardless though, the song is still awesome.

  • 3 people aint cool enough to were there sunglasses at night

  • Great lead guitar from Eric Clapton!

  • Thanks for the whole thing...great freaking song!!
