I know exactly how it felt as I was going through that dumping syndrome LOTS of times after my surgery. I had it last November and I've lost 175lbs. Started at 475 and I'm at the 300 mark so far. Never give up hope! AVOID the greasy stuff! That is the worst by far. Trust me, I know! I made that mistake several times before being able to give it up.
oh nan, I'm so sorry you are feeling bad...you are still beautiful!!!! I had to set a "no weigh, no way" goal.....everyone's is different...but I refuse to weigh 150 again!!!!! I have also reached goal and gained 5lbs a few times....but I worry so badly about getting fat again...I totaly understand your worries about the gain, but you have a handle on it...you are such an inspiration to me....keep those vids comming!
heck no, its NOT the easy way out! not at all! its a fight all the way and sometimes we lose battles in this war on food addiction. being women doesn't help either with the hormone roller coaster which always crashes straight into chocolate!
I feel your pain and am so sorry you are going through this but I totally understand because grease/fat is the major reason for any dumping I've experienced. I can handle sugar but my goodness does grease/fat throw me for a loop. All of your symptoms are what I experience. It's terrible and this is definitely not the easy way out. I've recently been noticing myself able to eat new things and have started worrying about gaining it back also. Great post. Feel better!
Food allergies can sometimes cause weight gain. In the past, before I was made aware of the possibility of food allergy and not binging, I could gain as much as 10 pounds over night! My family and friends can all testify to it. The best advice is to journal and make note of how the food makes you fee. A lot of times the foods you crave the most tends either to be allergy intolerance related or nutritional. Just a thought. Take Care.
I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I think all the time about gaining weight back and I'm not even at goal! I have mental struggles with myself about what I can but shouldn't eat. You are so right, WLS is NOT the easy way out. I'm so glad you're back!! ~viki
Girl I think all the time ...how can I not gain the weight back and I see how I go up and down I hate that but then I stop and think wow I have come along way I am not about to go back ...its a think before I eat thing...aww...your sweet to think of me before you went off your video bye and I hope your dumping stops soon...love ya...love rosemary
i didn't have wls but just from being around this community for a couple of months now i kind of feel like i had it easy. not to down play what i went through but...wls seems like such a hard road.
