February 20-26 of 2011

This week we went to church and Lucas had a fun time. While I learned that I don't totally enjoy going into the nursery because the women there just want to socialize and not listen to the sermon. Zoey's two bottom teeth broke through and she's doing well with teething. She loves to try and stand and tries to sit up. She reaches for things and turns and rolls on the floor. Lucas plays with her well and sometimes asks to hold her. She just laughs at him, no matter what he does sometimes. She's also sleeping well by herself. I can just put her in her bassinet and leave her with some music and she'll fall asleep without hardly crying! The kids are on the same schedule which really helps. They take a nap at 2pm and then go to sleep around 9pm til they wake up around 10am the next day!. Lucas tries to copy what we say and is understanding a lot more. He loves puzzles and his bath duckies. Always constantly asking for his coat and shoes and still enjoys getting dressed. He still stays in his bed and plays when he's about to nap. He has drawn on one wall, but we're starting to encourage him to do it only on paper - which you will see in next week's video. This week wasn't much for a video week - i know they are long and for those who watch, thanks. It's just neat to see what the kids are learning. Mike and I had AJ and Rob over for a poker night and that was fun, especially getting Mike with ice. I had to go to bed early though because I had to wake up at 7am to go do a consultation for First Kiss Video.
