How do ya'll think the Celtics are in position to get back to the finals?? This is exactly why. Their confidence and focus and veteran leadership is unmatched by any other team. The veterans mentored Rondo the first couple of years because he was raw and immature, and now he's easily become the best, most clutch, and truest point guard in the league. There's no body like him, to be honest. He's always must watch TV. May be not to the average fan, but for those that truly understand basketball.

You can tell Rondo gets really pissed when anyone calls the Celtics old. I think all interviews where the interviewed brings up the Celtics being old you can see the shift in Rondo's face from chill to fuck off

Derron Williams is right there, don't get me wrong.. but i'm talking about elite pure point guards, and Chris Paul is also an amazing pg. If it helps D-Will would be my third choice, but as far as pg status... in my opinion CP3 and Rondo are the true pure pgs in the league. D-Will is a combination of a pg and shooting guard.
