Veronica Lake was a gorgeous blonde. Only regret for this movie is that it was not in color. So I could see her blonde tresses. Still we have her very attractive features.

This was based on Thorne Smith's (the man who wrote the "Topper" books, which became a series of popular films) final novel, "The Passionate Witch" [completed after his death by Norman Matson], and was originally produced for Paramount {they sold the film, with several others, to United Artists}.
