I was challenged to respond to this video as well that claims that Muhammad was racist against blacks. The owner of the video said he would remove his video if I could respond to his points.

  • Brother, just a slight rectification:

In 9:44 you say Bukhari, Book 8, Hadith 65 says that the Prophet used to be busy serving his own family...

Its actually Bukhari, VOLUME 8, Book 73, Hadith 65. Just fix that up if you read this message bro =]

    Perfect video........

  • This was great, brother!

    JazakAllah Khair!

  • @MrIslamAnswersback

    Nice. Alhamdulillah.

  • @psychlopes1976 - Besides, the Quran never actually used the words white or black do the describe the faces. Those are the words that the translators chose to use to translate the actual Quranic words. The Quran does say blackened and whitened. But those two words are used in Arabic as they are in English to refer to expressions and states of minds.

  • Salam,

Just wanted to point out that in Qataratun, you do not elongate the a before the T, otherwise it becomes the plural of the word. And the wording is "upon it is a..." so that darkness or smoky dust is not the color of the face but rather kind of like the scum that sticks to a person's face after working on his car. And the meaning is most probably metaphorical like you explained, not even an actual darkness, but more of the gloomy expression on their faces.

  • The first man to be chosen to call for Prayer was black and he was freed by Muhammad.

  • Bro he got that version of Burkhari from the prophet of doom

  • Correct ... peace shlaam sholom.
