The late Activist Dorothy Height was honored by Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) Feb. 22, 2011.
Norton introduced the bill to rename the historic D.C. U.S. Post Office to Dorothy Height. President Obama signed it, and here's the renaming ceremony...

Dorothy Height died in 2010 at the age of 98. She was the former president of the National Council of Negro Women and recieved many awards including the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
