Idiotic comments... this is what they had back then. Nobody is saying this is a nice home defense gun, or modern warfare gun. Your revolver was your last option in battle, reserved for close combat once the enemy breached the line. Only the horse back soldiers used the revolver as their primary weapon..they would flank, ride in and fire all their cylinders...ride back out and reload, and they carried multiple cylinders already loaded..so reloading the gun was fairly quick.
