OTIS Gen2 Elevators - South Tower [Marriott Brooklyn Bridge]

I FINALLY got around to re-uploading this. This was filmed October 22, 2009.

These are the Otis Gen2 lifts in the newer South Building of the Brooklyn Marriott. This was actually built in 2006 - started in 2003. Also, these lifts have SERIES 4 CLASSIC FIXTURES, but I did not know that at the time. Ignore the Series 2 b-s i give in the video. Anyways there are beautiful elevators but kind of slow, even for a mid rise. Still, this place is pretty quiet, and there are 4 elevators, so it's probably not a problem.

The control panels in all four elevators are ALWAYS unlocked; you can turn off the fan AND put it into Independent Service! A very cool feature. I have already uploaded a more complete demonstration of this feature here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5JvhcyxtHY
