It is not the community that made YouTube big. It were actually the unauthorized uploads of copyrighted material. The community is only a side effect and we're not bringing other people over here. First the people find the copyrighted stuff and later they'll find us and will also start vlogging or being creative. We're responsible to get other people to join the community. If we fail then it is not the guilt of a company who's hosting this service for us completely free of charge.

People have just stopped making videos. That's what's happened. So few of the people I'm subscribed to still make vids. They just don't feel like they are part of a community anymore.
