Here it is: my first (working) MiniDV camcorder. A Panasonic NV-DS28 from 2002. Got it on Ebay for 52€. I think that's a good deal, because this once was sold for around 1000€.

  • Did you actually use that for some videos?

  • @magnuswilen

I used this for most of my early 2010 videos.

  • Panasonc XD.Can you tell me where did you downloaded Manual.Cuzz i got this camera also today from a friend from germany. Also i didnt got the usb cable to transfer it to my computer. How can i connect it with computer?

P.S how do you delete the video that you made on it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Mike

You can find the manual on Panasonic's web site.

There is no USB, for transferring videos to the computer you have to use a FireWire cable.

And to delete videos, you simply rewind the tape and record something over it :)

  • ine opion on the entry levlePan csmcorder was the picure ws not very good one must remeber it might be thebest but its the light that counts I had anentry livle sony some shots were very good some not sot its the light and even he time of day it came with a Demo DVD they do not mention any thing about light so I was sadified

  • I have a Samsung Mini DV camcorder, I like the way the tape loads, it doesnt have that tray that comes out, mine is much more simpler so it wont get screwed up and suck open like that, but it did start to eat the tapes one time but I fixed that so now it works again, I need a fire wire so I can put it on the computer.

Wrong. The old Panasonic has better image quality than the new one, especially in low light situations. And the old Panasonic has tons of features the new one doesn't have.

  • @DrCassette

You get better quality with the Panasonic SDR-S26. Why do you want an older camcorder?

  • @moviesunrated

Then stop being immature! I hate that!

The camcorder I used is a Panasonic SDR-S26.

  • What was the camera you were using for the beginning of the video Borat?

Sorry I had to say Borat I'm just immature I guess.
