  • An Absolutely Beautiful Classy Lady!!!! Even just giving that short speech you can see this lady has much charisma and charm!! I am glad she was the one chosen to be in the most popular Christmas Movie of all time! I loved her in the movie, "From Here To Eternity." And also thought that her performance was 'Great' in the 1956 Movie "Ransom!" I completely fell in love with her when she starred in her weekly TV Series "The Donna Reed Show." I WISH that she was still here Today!!! LOVELY LADY!!!!!

  • Donna Reed was one of the best underrated actresses since the invention of motion pictures! She was the B E S T !

  • This is wonderful

  • This is when moviestars were true moviestars! Not like any of the crap today! Donna reed a true icon!!!!! love her

  • Hey it's Miss Ellie

  • she was great

  • Donna Reed was such a trooper! She showed an independent, mischievious wife with a mind of her own on "The Donna Reed Show", and in "It's A Wonderful Life". Pre-dating "women's lib" by years! SO sad she had to give up the role of "Miss Ellie" on Dallas when Barb. Bel Geddes got well. Couldn't the producers have given Ms. Reed another role...like Miss Ellie's sister, when that happened? My whole family thought the way the Dallas producers treated poor Donna Reed SO poorly, then!

  • stunning woman

  • From here to eternity hottie

  • Oh by the way, I remember watching this AFI salute to Capra when it was shown on television. They used to show these programs on TV live or taped and it was a big deal to watch these on tv. I remember my girlfriend and I watching this together and how excited we were to see all these movie stars. The Capra AFI salute really sticks in my memory more then any of the others, it was that good. I do forget one thing though. It looks like the '70's, but does anybody know what exact year this show was?

  • What a beautiful woman, and so talented too. Donna was great in all the films she was in and her presence in them just added to the movie itself. I love you Donna Reed, and I'm sad you left this world too soon. Rest in Peace.

  • Class act.. #1 in y book.
