@VeryLargeRat Despite that, when I try to describe Oceansize to someone, i still use Tool as a comparison, because it's the only famous band that has at least some similarities.

I don't really see the comparison. Oceansize have a more varied sound and are less toward the prog metal spectrum and more toward the post-rock side. I say they are both equal. I just haven't been drawn to Tools sound as much, although I do like them.
