Fabulous!

I love his reaction at the end and how one of the first things he did was reward his horse for putting forth the effort she did.

Lovely piece of riding!

I am not really sure what happened.
I do know that I ride my Clydesdale in dressage & he kicks major butt. He has never had any problem, he is around 2.
I do not see him being number 1 in the region at 9 Idk how any horse can do that. That is like steroids gone wrong.
Horses do not show emotion such as humans do what so ever but I don't know when my horses are pissed off because my mare will grit her teether put her head down & try harder to please. So idk what happened to her rider anyway?

Did you just say that you are riding a 2 year old?

the horse is no longer able to be ridden. As a result of this kind of riding and especially the training. I saw it, I was there in Aachen in 2006. Makes me angry and sad, because its such a sweet and beautiful horse. And could have been a great Danish star. Would have deserved it.

@ItsMe490 She is retired from competition due to an injury coming off a trailer. Her training was impeccable and she is still well-loved and well cared for.

she doesn't just look at how she behaves ears, tail, how she carries herself. And know your facts. This young horse can't be ridden anymore. Because of its training and riding style. This is Totilas future. Stars when they are 9 years, permanently in pain when they are 12. Dressage horses used to be able to be ridden till their twenties. Think about it.
These are facts. This horse was mentally and ohysically broken. And FEI put Rollkur under Penalty today. Finally!

I'm not an expert in dressage, nor did I claim to be. I was merely pointing out that horses show their emotions/feelings differently than humans do (considering they can't speak). I do realize the horses can sustain sport injuries, and I also acknowledge the fact that, as the years go by, horses become more and more fragile. I've seen the same thing in race horses. Though Blue Hors Matine was apparently injured in a non-riding incident, I do realize what you are trying to say.

I appreciate the correction, as I do know I am not expert and do not know all of the facts. I was just pointing out, from what I know, that horses display/voice their protests differently than humans. That's all I was saying.
