87's only have 110hp, the 88 and 89 motor has 118. Fun tho, I put a big K&N on my 1989 and that's all the exta power it needed for some fun.

Got a bit of a knock to it , i imagine it has 150k + miles on it ? i have a 88 that starting doing that till i rebuilt the motor , fun car to drive amazing amount of power for a 1.6 i believe its 121 hp stock thats alot for the size of engine it has and the year it came out, mine is running about 180 hp now and can outrun most stock v8's impressive to me comsidering the size of motor
