  • I have this recording, my most favorite Bruch concerto, WAY underplayed. It sounds like Brahms and I can't honestly understand why people don't like it. It's such an emotional and passionate work and, in my opinion, one of Bruch's finest major works.

  • Accardo did record all six of the Paganini concertos thirty years ago so the man has a very formidable technique.

  • this thing is amazing. i can here how difficult it is... i am currently learning Bruch violin concerto in g minor and that is difficult, but this is WAY up there.

  • This is way better than his other concertos (which are still amazing of course) :D. Another great piece - which I can't find on teh internets - is his full Konzertstuck. There's two movements but I can only find the first movement, which is unfortunate because the second mvt is probly the most beautiful music I've ever heard.

  • starting at 2:44 brahms anyone ?

  • Yes, he could knock out a good tune could old Max :)

  • @Personwithface13 bruch in general is phenominal!!! Though this is my first time listening to this one, I still love it!

  • Bruch concerto no. 3 is far better then no.2 although no.2 is still pretty great. but no.1 will always be the best.

  • Can you upload the second and third movement?

  • This is Accardo I have his recording of all the Bruch concerti

  • Among rare concertos, don't forget the Lvov played by Stadler. The Reger too, if you want a challenge, the longest of all.
