Macbook Pro 13" 2.26 Review - Part 1

This is my review on the Macbook Pro that i opened up last week.

I go into shut down time, boot time. I run multiple applications to show if you do need 4 GB of ram.

I also show some of the trackpad features as well as the lit keyboard again.

Part 2 will go into the Exterior of the macbook and as well as the graphics, showing that the macbook can play 1080p high definition video.

Seriously, thank you so much for this video. I've been waiting for the past 3 months for the MBP refresh hoping the base 13 would get 4gb RAM but looking at this video, I don't really need that much and I'll be perfectly happy getting a MBP now. How fast is your internet connection? I will be uploading lots of videos and almost 2 hours for a four minute video is too long. I have about 20mbps internet. How's yours? Want to make sure it's the internet and not the computer making it upload slow.

@rowelle Your very welcome, but usually around this time, the life cycle of the macbook is up - so there should be a new model soon, leme look into it further, unless you need the macbook right now.

and the internet connection im not sure - i was using a open access within my building . So i can't tell ya how fast the connection was and or how far the router was. :S sorry but im planning on doing a video in the near future and i have 14mbps so i can tell you the time and difference then :)

@alwsfaction - sorry for the delay of answers but NbucketTV has the right mind set. I dont find the 13" small at all. Its a good size and weight and there's no hassle for when i want to travel somewhere with it.

@ 5mike25 - i just put it in afterwards with editing.

RageOfTheKage - id also purchase the ram from a third party company like, tigerdirect, or newegg. so the extra ram doesnt effect your tax and also costs cheaper then purchasing from apple.

and its good for video editing my home videos using my sony dcrsx40 but if its high def then id get more ram.

I find that im able to use the imovie and video editing for simple youtube videos great, except for uploading or converting the file. I havent used photoshop yet but i would i assume it would take alot for that program. I plan on upgrading to 4gb but through a thrid party for sure. But definitely a powerful machine nethertheless. But for heavy duty definitely 4gb.

how did you get the youtube video screen to be so big so you only see the video instead of the comments and the reccomendations?

SSD will help launch applications quicker not ram.

Your review is so helpful. I'm a graphic designer student, i use pc but i wanna buy apple since all viruses really in love with pc -_-" and antiviruses just make my pc getting slower and slower and slower .... and besides, macbook is what i need for design and stuff =D Thank you and have a lovely day!

i was gonna get the 15 inch but finally decided on the 13 because my frend has one and i used it and i just loved the portable size and alot of ppl say its really only for browsin the web and you cant really do video editing on this version that well but my frend does video editing all the time .. so ya
