Folding the Norwegian House Slippers

This is a follow-up to an article that appeared in Craft magazine. These slippers can be a bit confusing to fold properly. I hope this video helps!

This is awesome. I've explained this to a couple of people and now I can just point them here and they can play it as often as they need it.

My better half and I love these slippers but found the pointed heel a little bothersome so we added a "notch" between blocks 2 and 3 and join these edges to make a nice, rounded heel.

Bravo

Thanks Lissi I've been looking for some easy slipper projects because I'm new to knitting and was very excited about the idea of felting these slippers too what a great idea.

I really have to laugh! Is this something Norwegian, you think? Well, as long as it is made of wool, it will keep your feet warm. Good luck!

Just what I needed! Now I can finish the knitting without having to worry about whether it will really go together. These will be for an 11-1/2"-long foot, so I cast on 26 stitches and knitted for 44 rows to make the first square.
I'm using 3 colors, like in the magazine. Your 2-color version looks good too. Thanks for posting!
