The potential health benefits of beer and wine; Biotechnology and the future of food Series: "UC Davis Frontiers" [8/2007] [Public Affairs] [Science] [Agriculture] [Show ID: 12867]
Science should be investigating the effects of gene manipulation on the population and the environment. Nowadays, science works together with industry to generate profits instead of being made accountable and responsible to it's citizens. What's really needed are long term studies on the effects of GMO use, but of course, that is not profitable to industry. Why no labeling of GMO ingredients if they are truly safe, if not to mislead?!?!
I can't believe the guy on the left (10:10)advocates beer because 'it's a rich source of silicon'. Seriously, what's the RDA of silica? Why do I need silicon in my diet?
