TRIVIA
Filming took place June 5th and 7th at La Fiere Manor and Bridge where an infamous battle actually occurred during World War II
Shot on location in Normandy, France
Production lasted only two days.
Fact: the budget was 4 cases of beer and lunch for the cast and crew. .
The cast was made up of World War II re-enactors
The re-enactors playing the Germans were French and Belgium.
Tommy McArdle, the leader of the American Paratroopers, was in the Army Special Forces and is now a New York City cop.
The Americans and Germans each shot their respective parts of the battle on different days and never actually met each other.
The German jeep, motorcycle and anti-aircraft gun are all authentic to the 1940s.
The footage in the film of the Germans running through the bunker halls was filmed in an actual German bunker in Normandy at the Crisbecq Battery.
The opening airdrop scene features the LIBERTY JUMP TEAM who conduct memorial airdrops across Normandy onto historical sites during the D-Day Anniversary events held every year.

Yeah, the ppsh was a slip up. But it's a minor, minor quibble that most folks wouldn't even pick up.
Masterful use of available resources folks! This was exceedingly well done. Kudos to all involved! Out of idle curiosity what camera was it shot on?
