My nearly 12-year-old Retriever mix, Artax, demonstrating that he knows many commands in both English and German. He only knew English until a few months after his 11th birthday so he's learned all these new words since then. Not bad for such an old guy. :)
It's funny when he's staying and I called out "Koda" (the name of one of my other dogs) and Artax started to get up since the beginning of that word sounds similar to "come," but then he realized it wasn't quite the right word and laid back down.
@BlankenshipCody Thanks, he got one and is still going strong at 12 years + 3 months.

I just watched several other "bilingual dog" videos on YouTube and in every one of them it was evident that the person was giving the dog hand signals in addition to verbal commands. Hand signals are easier for dogs to learn than words, and when they are used in conjunction with words it's not clear whether a dog really knows the words or just signals. Artax was not given any hand signals during the filming of this video, though he does know many of them too so I guess he's trilingual. :)
