As for Underground Atlanta, don't bother visiting that dump, UNLESS you don't have a problem with being in the midst of every concievable form of ignorance & negativity. It seems like the knuckle heads and malcontents tend to take over tourist attractions or gathering places, and then they ruin it for everyone.

There has to be something decent folks can do collectively to turn around this problem to make Underground Atlanta a nice place for families and others to

visit and have a nice time.

@terminuszone1 Oh you're back and with a douche bag to boot. I see why you're defending U.A. You're foul, just like it's patrons. Maybe this will pacify you.....I appreciate your support for Underground Atlanta and all that it has to offer. It is indeed the 'crown jewel' of Atlanta and represents the BEST that this city has to offer. I will from this point on, disregard the endless negative feedback by multitudes of tourists, and my own experiences regarding this downtown venue for that matter.

@terminuszone1 I'm so glad you enjoyed the hoodrats, thugs, hustlers, and the general pissy smell of Underground Atlanta in between your classes. BRAVO...you get a pat on the back. At any rate, thanks for stopping by and trying to sugar coat the truth, which is that U.A. is a HUGE waste of tax payers money and is primarily enjoyed by the segment of society that embraces nothing but ignorant bullsh*t. I visited U.A. recently with hopes of progress...NOT another sneaker store or hoodrat kiosk!

@seand67 You are not in any position to judge anyone. I went to school at GSU and walked through Underground all the time....Atlanta was a lot worse back in the day. Crime has dropped nearly 40% since the early 90's, where have you been? Sounds like Seand67 is somewhat of a wimp and that explains why you don't like Underground Atlanta

I use 2b so proud of the atl back in the 90's. Now when I take marta from the airport to doraville it doesnt seem like the same place. I dont know if its the influx of people from other places or what but it doesnt feel like the same city.

@futureBLESS Thanks for your input. I agree with you that UA and MARTA have an Urban (i.e. Ghetto, Hood Rat, Thug) feel to it, so it's really not a place for positive/progressive people to be. If you want to mix with the ignorant crowd, UA is where it's at. Be safe and watch your back!
