Stigmata - in Christian mysticism, bodily marks, scars, or pains corresponding to those of the crucified Jesus Christ—that is, on the hands, on the feet, near the heart, and sometimes on the head (from the crown of thorns) or shoulders and back (from carrying the cross and scourging). They are often presumed to accompany religious ecstasy.

Piltdown Man - anthropological hoax (species Eoanthropus dawsoni) also called Dawsons dawn man - proposed species of extinct hominin (member of the human lineage) whose fossil remains, discovered in England in 191012, were later proved to be fraudulent. Piltdown man, whose fossils were sufficiently convincing to generate a scholarly controversy lasting more than 40 years, was one of the most successful hoaxes in the history of science.

  • @stanson902 There is a real condition that exists that causes this. Even if this is a hoax, it is a real condition called Osler-Weber-Rendu syndrome or Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telanglectasia. It may be brought on by changes in weather and about 5000 people have HHT. There's a medical article on this.

  • obviously fake, they proved it on live tv, and if you watch the documentary, you can see the mother putting the fake blood on her, people like this really need to stop trying to get public attention, it sickens me.

  • Why would a condition like that be fake? She's a medical mystery yet to be solved, not some girl who hurts herself looking for public attention. I don't care how much of an expert that doctor is, that is a stupid and moronic conclusion!

  • Hint: Take a syringe, withdraw her blood from a vein, save it up and pour it on later.

  • UEUEHEUEHWYEH!!! I'M GONNA PUKE!

  • OMG.

  • @badinfluence1985 Why in the world would you believe this to be true? Do you want it to be true?

  • @asorlonnn ... He is open to evidence, all these people needed to do was be monitored 24 7 for a bit. Not the greatest thing Im sure but this is her chance to prove it's not a hoax and what do ya know.. unwilling to do it. It's important to have an open mind, but not a mind so open your brains fall out.

  • @badinfluence1985 lol The mother in the evenings drew menstruation itself or more likely the child itself (with the complicity of daughter) and they it rubbed in her eyes. I'm sure the Dr. found this but not reported on TV to be very sensitive and private

  • As you can see ladies and gentlemen, the close minded Scientist believes it to be a hoax.
