Top Three Survival Tools - Cold Steel - Blast Match - Guyot

In a forum, someone asked what are your top three survival tools. Of course, we would not want to be in a survival situation with only three tools. But the question is a good mental exercise. And more importantly, having the three tools that I chose could save one's life.

I chose a chose a survival knife, fire starting tool, and a water carrier.

Specifically: Cold Steel Recon Scout, Blast Match by Ultimate Survival Technologies, and the Backpacker water bottle by Guyot designs.

Every survival situation varies as to conditions and circumstances, and you may have a different choice than those items that I chose.

The recon scout is 150 pounds in the uk approx 200 dollars

I would say that the seration on the K Bar would be invaluable in survival as it allows for sawing and willing of wood with ease.

@PatriotPrepper I know mate that's why I bought a Falkniven F1 plus a condor golak and a condor parang for approx 160 pounds sterling. The Hultifors heavy duty knife is approx 12 pounds and is excellent as is the mora triflex at 23 pounds is fantastic if any of your British subscribers are interested. PS i keep saying pounds as my pound sign isn't working haha i get this # when press it.
