Ponti's Italian Kitchen take on the Monster Challenge... AND WIN!

The team at Ponti's Italian Kitchen, Oxford Circus, rose to the challenge set by the Good Food channels, Monster Munchies programme recently, to create an enormous awe-inspiring pizza of monster proportions.
Filming for the second series, saw the crew head to London for the first time to capture teams from Ponti's Italian Kitchen and Firezza, as they went head-to-head over 24-hours to create a pizza which would dwarf the average person.
Presiding over the two teams was former England rugby player and renowned foodie, Matt Dawson. A panel of specially selected judges, including Nanny Pat and Jessica Wright from The Only Way Is Essex and renowned Restaurateur and owner of the La Cucina Caldesi Cookery School, Gian Carlo Caldesi. The winning team was chosen based on taste, size and presentation. Ponti's Italian Kitchen were delighted to walk away with the coveted trophy -- an oversized spoon!"
