Les Sept Laux is set in the heart of the Bellendonne mountains spread over three villages Prapoutel, Pipay and Le Pleynet boasting 120km of runs from 1350m up to a height of 2400m. The area has a good record of snow and an extensive snow canon network. As well as the piste, Les Sept Laux also boasts one of the largest snow parks in Europe designed by the H.O.5 Park group.
The resort was started in the early 1960s and was the project of Aimé Pacquet, a local politician who served in the early 1970s at a national level. Laurent Chappis, who had built Courchevel, did the original study for the resort and proposed a new concept with the main accommodation located lower down and the resort served by a high speed lift. Chappis's ideas were heavily influenced with conservation but he was way ahead of his time and the development opted for the status-quo of ski-in ski-out convenience.

Music by Drowning Pool is a four-piece hard rock/heavy metal band that was formed in 1996 in Dallas, Texas, United States. They are currently signed to Eleven Seven Music and have released three albums, their most recent being Full Circle, which was released on August 7, 2007. Each of their three albums has featured a different lead singer. The band recently played in Crüe Fest 2: The White Trash Circus.
Le domaine skiable des Sept Laux est situé en Isère, au cœur du massif de Belledonne. On y skie de 1350 à 2400 mètres daltitude sur deux versants de montagne. A lest, le versant du Pleynet, côté vallée du Haut Brédat, et à louest le versant Prapoutel et Pipay, surplombant la vallée du Grésivaudant. Les pistes alternent entre forêts de résineux et environnement de montagne sauvage. Loffre, variée, convient aussi bien aux familles, avec des pistes faciles permettant dévoluer sur tous les versants, quaux skieurs confirmés, avec une mention toute particulière pour litinéraire des Vallons du Pra.
