Xunantunich is one of Belizé's and for that fact, the worlds, most accesible and nice to view Mayan ruins. Just outside by the entrance before the pull-barge, there is the opportunity to buy crafts- and with the steep incline of the hill, they more-or-less have your attention and do a good job of getting you in. From there, it is down to negotiating with them...
Lovely slate carvings, painted with show polish and then cured.
